07/25/07 - Milo's 6 month check-up

We had Milo's 6 month check-up today. He weighed 16 pounds, 9 ounces and is 26 inches long. That's an entire pound less than Natalie was at 6 months(17/9), but then again she was on cereal for an entire month by that age. Milo had cereal this afternoon for the second day in a row(4th time total). He did well, and seemed to enjoy it. For the next week he'll get one cereal meal in the mornings. Then we'll up it to two for a week, and then three. After three weeks, he'll start on veggies. Won't that be fun! LoL He had two shots today, but handled them pretty well. He's slept a lot since, but seems to be okay when he's awake. Hopefully he won't be too cranky.

At 6 months old, Milo is crawling(army-style), sitting pretty well on his own, and waking once a night to nurse. He has two bottom teeth, and it doesn't look like any others are on the way. He is such a smiley, happy boy, though when he's angry you can really tell. He clenches his whole body and squeals or screams. It's cute, but I fear those teeth clenching! LoL
