08/09/06 - Commie!!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are all now members of the KGB. Supporters of Soviet Union. Commies. Natalie just started saying this today. She is saying "come here" but it sounds like "commie." She says it very loud and forcefully. Like a true soldier, huh? LoL When she first starts she folds her hand over in typical "come here" fashion. But if you are busy doing something(which is usually the case or else she wouldn't even be asking) and take too long, she resorts to pulling on your hand or shirt.

Also, some of you may not know this, but just last week Natalie started saying "bless you" when we sneeze. I have said it to her ever since she was born, in a very animated fashion. She would always laugh when I said it. Now she understands the connection. I was very shocked the first time I sneezed and out pops a little "bled joo!" I am always so tickled when she says it and give her a very big thank you. Once, in the car, after she said it once, she realized that she liked the reaction and spent the next few minutes yelling "bled joo" over and over. I tried to get her to understand that it's really only when someone sneezes, but I don't know if she got it. Well, it's a learning process...and a cute one!

Yesterday we were able to achieve a first. Pigtails!! She looked so darn cute! Of course, before I could get the pictures taken, she had gotten Cheetos dust in one tail, so it was not as fluffy as the other. But cute nonetheless!
