09/19/06 - Natalie Updates

First of all, let me just say that this little girl is the most perfect little girl there ever was. She is such a happy, energetic thing. If she only slept at night, she'd be even closer to perfect! LoL She LOVESLOVESLOVES other kids. When we were waiting at the doc's office, she was running around and talking and laughing. Everyone in the room was watching her and chuckling because she was being so silly. Then, a mom came in with three kids(and was pregnant with another, yikes!). One of the kids was a 2 year old girl. Natalie went right over to her and kept saying "Hi girl!" The poor little girl was so shy and was basically just hiding by her mom. She wanted nothing to do with Natalie. But Natalie was trying to show her a flower she had found on a brochure and made sure to point out where the TV was, even though it wasn't on. She always walks right up to other little kids and just starts talking away like they are best friends already. I hope she always stays like that. With adults it's another story. Women are usually okay, but she is really shy around men. If they talk to her, watch out! LoL

Last night she actually slept all the way through without crying. The night before she was up for 2 hours before we finally got her back to bed. I have no idea what's causing her to wake up, but I hope it's a phase she grows out of soon. We are going to transition her to a big girl bed soon, and I don't want her banging on our door in the middle of the night!

That's about all I can think of right now. It's still early and I am half asleep. I'll try to update more later. I'll leave you all with a recent pic. Taken on the 18th.
