Old Blog Entry 01-10-06

Natalie update

Natalie is 2 days away from 14 months. She still doesn't walk!!!!!!!!! She loves walking while holding on to our hands, and she has discovered the joy of her little Fisher Price walker toy. She walks that thing all over the house. But she refuses to go it alone. She also isn't talking too much. She says mama, dada, baby, puppy and that's about it. She signs a lot and she understands plenty of words, she just doesn't say them. I am not sure if I should start to worry or not. Teeth numbers 9 and 10 have broken through now, with a few more right there ready to pop. Her hair is really starting to thicken. It's still not very long, but her scalp is becoming slightly less visible. Or maybe it's just my imagination. LoL She drinks only from sippy cups now, no more bottles. She hasn't had a bottle in about a month now, I think. Though, the sippy cups are pretty much like bottles, so I don't know what the big deal with them is. She is fascinated with putting things inside of other things. Her favorite toys are cups and pretty much any small object that will fit inside. She discovered that there is water in the toilets(eek!) so we have to make sure we keep the lids down. She still thinks the cats are absolutely hysterical. She was squealing and laughing so loud yesterday, she actually scared us because we thought she was screaming from fear. But she was just laughing at the cat, who was eating. Silly girl. There's probably a ton more things, but I can't think of them right now. Overall, Natalie is doing great! She loves the new house. :o)
