9 months old!

My little Miloman is 9 months old today. He gave me a present by going back to bed at 5:30 after he ate. He fussed a bit, but fell asleep within 5 minutes. Unfortunately by that time the girl was awake.

I keep seeing pictures and videos of all these January babies walking around. I also keep hearing that Milo will be walking any day now. I just don't see it. He loves to cruise, and can do it very well, but he doesn't do so well at the walking forward. When I hold his hands to "walk" him, he will take a few steps, but then his feet fold under and he just leans forward. That doesn't say to me "almost walking." It's cool though, I am not expecting much. Natalie didn't walk until 15 months, so I know Milo will take his time with it too. He also isn't saying anything recognizable. When he gets talkative, he sure does say a lot, but it's never the same sound. He loves grunting, squealing, and blowing raspberries. Typical boy. He is still nursing frequently during the day, which is okay since he only nurses once(usually) at night. He's eating lunch and dinner right now. Not sure when I'll add breakfast in. He gets breakfast sometimes on the weekends when Arnel is up with him in the morning and I am sleeping. When I am up with him, I'd rather just nurse him than feed him more solids.

He also LOVES climbing the stairs. At night, when we all go up to get in the bath, we let him climb up the stairs(it should go without saying that we are right behind him) and he literally squeals with excitement the entire way up. Natalie loves it too because he's chasing her, so she makes sure to stay just out of his reach as to ensure his maximum excitement. Then they go straight into the bathroom where Milo proceeds to try to scale the side of the tub. He is a little bundle of energy, that one.

We have his 9 month check-up tomorrow(as well as Natalie's 3 year one) tomorrow, so I'll update with his stats then.

Your kids must be about the same age difference as mine are. I remember going to the 9 month and 3 year appointments not too long ago... at the same time! My kids started walking at 14 and 13 months... and man do I wish they would stop! Enjoy the little time you have left before they are both walking! :)
